Certified teachers use a state approved kindergarten readiness curriculum. The child to adult ratio is 1:8. This program is Michigan’s state funded and endorsed preschool program for eligible 4 year old children. Family income and risk factors determine eligibility for free programming. Families making over an established amount of income may be eligible to attend for a small monthly tuition fee. However, eligibility and prioritization guidelines are followed. Criteria for tuition and eligibility is established annually by the Legislature.
